Common questions

Platelet-rich plasma is concentrated from a small sample of your own blood and introduced into the relevant tissue. It is important to be straightforward about the evidence: PRP for sexual function is considered experimental, trials to date have not shown it to outperform placebo, and Health Canada has not reviewed it for this use. A physician will discuss established options with you first.

Entirely. Consultations and treatments are private and physician-led, and numbing is used for comfort. Most people return to their day afterward.

Both women and men. Because the evidence is limited, a physician will first confirm whether an established treatment is more appropriate for you.

Every procedure is physician-led and planned around you in a private consultation.

Common questions

Assessment comes first, then established medical therapies. Where a treatment is still experimental, such as platelet-rich plasma, we say so rather than present it as proven.

ED can be an early marker of underlying cardiovascular disease, as well as of diabetes or hormonal and psychological factors. That is why it is worth investigating the cause rather than only treating the symptom.

Common questions

Assessment first, since the treatment depends on the type. Supervised pelvic floor muscle training is the recommended first-line approach for most women, and other options are considered from there.

Assessment and treatment are handled privately and without judgement.

Penile Enlargement

Assessment first. Most men who ask are anatomically normal, and the major urology bodies do not recommend the common lengthening and girth procedures, so consultation begins with an honest discussion rather than a procedure.

Common questions

An honest assessment. Most men who enquire fall within the normal range, and where that is the case we say so. Where concern about appearance is causing real distress, psychological assessment is recommended alongside any discussion of treatment.

We will not push them. Major urology bodies, including the AUA and the EAU, advise against the common lengthening and girth-enhancement procedures on the grounds that they have not been shown to be safe or effective.

Common questions

It is frequent night-time urination that disrupts sleep. We assess the underlying cause and treat accordingly.

Often, yes. Treatment depends on the cause, which we identify through a private assessment.
