Autologous fat grafting can modestly increase penile girth. It does not increase length, and patient selection and expectation management are critical to satisfaction.
Procedure overview
Fat is harvested by gentle liposuction (typically abdomen or flanks), processed, and re-injected in the subcutaneous layer of the penile shaft. Performed under sedation; outpatient.
What to expect
- Modest, gradual girth increase — never the dramatic numbers seen in unregulated marketing.
- Partial fat resorption over 3–6 months; touch-up sessions common.
- Return to normal activity in 1 week; intercourse at 4–6 weeks.
